The File Manager

The file manager can be used to open files for editing or view them. It can also be used to create new folders and web paes, upload files and organize files using cut, copy, paste, delete and rename.

The editor has all the text formatting features you'd expect to find in an editor. The buttons for these features are on the top two toolbars. At the bottom are the control panes. These allow you to edit properties for links, images, tables, the page itself, and to edit the HTML. Control panes serve the same function as pop-up dialogs in other programs. However, they are much more convenient to use because changes made in the control panes take effect immediately and can be seen in the main window. Some of these panels are described in more detail below.

 The HTML Editor

Here you see Weditor with the HTML editing panel visible. The HTML panel allows editing of the HTML code of a web page. The results are seen immediately in the upper half of the screen. Also, changes made in the upper half are immediately seen in the HTML view.

 Image Properties

The editor, with the image properties panel visible. The image properties panel allows you to modify image properties such as height, width, alignment and border width, and also allows you to choose an image with the image picker tool described below. As described previously, any changes to these properties can be seen immediately in the editor.

This is a graphical tool for picking an image on the web site, on another web site, on your computer or from a clipart gallery.
